Do you ship your Remy Hair outside of the United States?
Unfortunately, due to tracking issues, we ship only to the contiguous United States. The contiguous United States refers to the 48 U.S. states located south of the border with Canada on the North American continent, plus the District of Columbia. We do not ship to Alaska and Hawaii as they are not part of the 48 contiguous United States. We apologize for the inconvenience, but multiple problems with overseas shipping have led us to adopt this new shipping policy.

Can Vellusia Remy Hair be used for Braiding?
We do not recommend Vellusia Remy Hair for braiding, simply because it is true virgin hair, which means it has a live cuticle. When the hair comes to you, all of the cuticles are pointing in the same direction, but some braiding techniques manipulate the hair in such a way that the cuticles become mismatched, which can lead to severe tangling.

Yes, most of the dark colors are equal to a 1B in the Beauty Supply Store.

Can I cut the hair off the weft?
Absolutely! In fact, Marquetta uses Vellusia Remy Hair to create Lace Wigs all the time. This requires cutting the hair off of the weft.

Can I color the hair?
Yes, because the cuticle is live, the hair can be colored and highlighted. To be sure you get the color you want, we suggest that you do a patch test first.

How long can I wear Vellusia Remy Hair?
Vellusia Remy Hair can be worn as long as your sew-in lasts and even longer! The key to wearing your hair this long is to make sure you take care of the hair by washing and conditioning it regularly with quality shampoos and conditioners.

How many packs of hair will I need to do an entire head?
The amount of hair you'll need will depend on the style you’re creating. For a partial weave, you’ll only need 1 pack of hair. For a full-head, sew-in weave, you’ll need 2 to 3 packs, depending on how thick you want your hair to be. Most full-head, sew-in weaves require 2 packs.

Does your Remy Hair come in Wet and Wavy?
All of the hair has some sort of wave pattern, and some bundles are wavier than others. We do not offer any specific textures like wet and wavy, however.

Does the hair come in any other colors besides black and brown?
Marquetta was adamant that no chemicals should be added to the hair, and we keep the hair in its most natural state. The donors’ natural hair colors are natural black and natural brown, so those are the only colors we carry.

Because Vellusia Remy Hair textures are all natural, we do not specify textures for the hair. All Vellusia Remy Hair is naturally wavy/curly, and each bundle is unique.

Why do you only sell Natural Black and Natural Brown Remy Hair?
We sell only Natural Black and Natural Brown Remy Hair because our 100% natural hair comes from Indian donors, and Indian women don’t have blonde hair or jet-black hair; their hair is either naturally black or naturally brown. Now, Natural Black does not mean jet black, and it doesn’t mean brown; Natural Black is an in-between color. No two bundles or packs of hair are exactly the same because each donor’s hair color is unique. This is very important to remember when you’re purchasing Indian Remy Hair or Remy Hair from any company – natural Remy Hair does not come in different colors. Real, authentic Remy Hair only comes in two colors, Natural Black and Natural Brown. We don’t carry other colors because we do not want any additives, processing, or coloring applied to the hair. (Of course, you can color the hair if you want to.)

Can you explain your 30-day guarantee?
Absolutely! Our guarantee is simple, and here's how it works: when you place your order, we’ll ship your hair within 48 hours via FedEx Ground with Signature Confirmation. From the day you sign for your hair from FedEx, you’ll have 30 days to see and touch your new hair. If you don't feel that Vellusia Remy Hair is the best Remy Hair you've seen and touched, simply send it back for a full refund. As long as your package is postmarked and sent to us within 30 days from the day you signed for it from FedEx, we'll honor our promise and issue a full refund (minus S&H). Simple as that!
